Original PH 5 pendant lamp. Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen

Original purple PH 5 pendant lamp (dia: 50 cm). Designed by Poul Henningsen and produced by the Danish company Louis Poulsen. This is the first edition of the lamp, which was manufactured in 1958. The lamp therefore looks slightly different from later editions. Some of the features are the bottom plate attached with three screws instead of one and the middle ring, which is not blue but made of polished metal. The shape of the lampshades is also slightly different. Only a very small number of these lamps exist, making them a collector's item.
The lamp is in a very good condition with some signs of use (please pay particular attention to the last four pictures).
The lamp is delivered with an E27 porcelain bulb socket and a 185 cm. long textile cable.
A longer cable can be mounted for a fee.

The lamp can be picked up in Berlin Mitte near Rosenthaler Platz or it can be delivered by car in Berlin for 10 euros. Usually within 24 hours. Shipping with DHL is also possible. We ship more than 20 lamps each month inside Germany as well as international. To make sure the lamp arrives safely, it is shipped in a special made box with package material. Shipping inside Germany is therefore 25 euro.
